Commissions

Clixplicit accepts commissions for oil paintings, with a focus on portraits and figurative work in a realistic style infused with fantasy. Every commission is a collaboration. Together we discuss the subject, atmosphere and format — ensuring the final result is not only technically strong, but personal and meaningful.

Delivery time & availability

I combine my art with a full-time job. This means I give every painting the time and attention it deserves — but also that delivery times are longer than those of a full-time artist. Please allow 2 to 4 months depending on format and complexity. I work with a waiting list and take on a maximum of two commissions at a time. You are always welcome to register — I will communicate clearly about the expected start date. 

How does it work?

1. Intake — We discuss your wishes: subject, format, reference material and desired atmosphere. This can be done by email or a short conversation. 
2. Photo session — I photograph the model myself. These photos serve as reference during the painting process, allowing me to capture the right lighting, pose and atmosphere that suit your commission. 
3. Sketch & colour study — Based on the reference photos, I present a sketch or colour study for your approval. 
4. Deposit — Once the sketch is approved, I ask for a deposit of 40% of the agreed amount. 
5. Execution — During the painting process I share progress updates so you can follow along. 
6. Delivery — The work is carefully packaged and can be collected or shipped. Final payment is due upon receipt.
